AFL-CIO and BILL CLINTON SUPPORTS BARACK OBAMA POLITICALLY
Prezados
Patriotas e Nacionalistas,
interesses do Brasil.
Aqui no Brasil ninguém dá apoio

Paulo Augusto,
Nights like this don’t come along very often.
It’s not every election that the choice is so stark or the stakes so high.
What’s at stake right now in America
is about more than this November. It’s
about whether we want to live with a vision that moves our country
forward or
one that rolls back decades of progress. That’s why we need you to dig deep and
stand with President Obama to night.
Listen, I know that times are hard. It’s tough for many working families to
make ends meet, even to find a
job, and there’s a lot of uncertainty about
important issues we care about. But this isn’t the first time that
times have
been tough, and I know what we can do together.
We’re working people. We built this country. We defend it. We wake it up each
morning. We make it run, and we put it to sleep each night. And we’re going to
keep working, long after this election, because it is work that connects us
all.
Putting our country on the right path isn’t easy, especially in the face of
dishonest and politically motivated obstruction from the Republican majority in
Congress. President Obama and Vice President Biden have put
the country on the
right path, but we have a long way to go.
Right now the country faces a choice. We can choose to build a future with
leaders committed to investing
in good jobs and our future-our public schools,
manufacturing economy, our ports and bridges and
roads-leaders like Barack Obama
and Joe Biden. Or we can choose Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan,
politicians who will
fight for corporate CEOs and the 1%.
An unprecedented amount of money will be spent this election cycle. We won’t be able to outspend Mitt Romney’s corporate buddies, but we can
fight back with something more important: people.
Your contribution to Workers’ Voice will help make sure we can register and
protect voters despite
massive voter suppression this cycle. It will help us
knock on doors and make calls to have one-on-one conversations about why this
election is so important for working families. It will help us make sure people
get the information they need and then get out to vote. It will help to make
sure that on Nov. 7, we will
wake up with leaders who will stand with us to
support working families, not take away or rights. We need to win this election cycle. And we can’t do it without
you.
In solidarity,
Richard Trumka President, AFL-CIO
